Today he spends his time investing in and advising early-stage technology companies to give them the best opportunity to grow rapidly and position their technologies as the leading platforms in their unique marketplace.

The drive and ambition that created his business success is actively demonstrated on thie water as his passion for photography drives him to create unique and compelling images of sailors around the world. As a photographer, Dave strives to capture the emotion of sailing competitionin. In the sailing world, sometimes that means showing the beauty of the lines of yachts under way or navigating a race course and other times it requires the hands-on close-up shots that show the thrill, excitement and contemplation that are always present on a racing vessel. For Optimist sailors, the best shots are taken as close to the action as possible to show the expression and focus present in every Opti competitor. This is accomplished by the skill and navigation of some of the best skippers and crew that volunteer their time and boats to drive Dave around the waters of each Optimist venue.
